We are looking for Graphic Designer!

We would ideally be looking for a minimum commitment of 8 weeks. Hours are flexible and we are open Tuesday – Friday 10am-5pm. The opportunity to work from home is available.

Job brief:

We are looking for a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge of design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including websites, flyers, posters, newsletters, exhibitions, corporate identity etc. and you will work with our management team to create these.


  1. Take the design “brief” to record requirements and needs of the organisation/ specific project
  2. Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints
  3. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  4. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  5. Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas to management team
  6. Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
  7. Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
  8. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  9. Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality

Useful experience/ Skills:

  1. Proven graphic designing experience
  2. Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  3. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  4. Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  5. Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)
  6. Highly proficient in all design aspects
  7. Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines

At OTC there are no bosses!

We have achieved so much in our first year in the Barras but we are at a junction where we need a much larger team to begin to actualise and bear more fruit. We have so much love and potential already poured into our big rusty old five storey building but with the right team, some more dreams can become a reality.
